Pros

EAB has a great leave policy and work-life balance. Employee caliber is very high--the vast majority of folks are highly intelligent, diligent, and care about the culture and their coworkers. I have been encouraged to take on stretch opportunities, and have grown significantly in my time at EAB.

Cons

Experiences can very between teams. Some people get passed around between managers and it hinders their growth. However, the research department is establishing people managers in April, 2020. This move will ensure supervisor continuity even when an employee switches to a new project and new project manager.

Pros

My manager is great. He is always willing to step in to help in any situation. My team members are amazing and are always willing to lend a helping hand. The overall company isn't too bad and they are working to make sure all employees feel included and expected.

Cons

Some of the higher up employees such as the executives (salespeople) and strategic leaders can be absolutely horrible. When I first started here I was paired with someone who expected me to be an expert at my job by my second month at the firm. She was rude to me, asked if I knew how to do my job after only doing it for a month and dealing with working from home because of COVD-19. She complained to my boss almost every day about what I wasn't doing right. She wouldn't tell me HOW to fix the things she felt were a problem so it was better for her...she just complained. I almost wanted to quit my 3rd or 4th month here because of her. She was then moved to someone else on my team and he later asked me how did I adjust to working with her and I said I never did. He then told me that he also dealt with the same issues from her and he had such bad anxiety working with her that he didn't want to come to work and wanted to quit as well. My friend joined the firm after me and was paired with someone who is known for being difficult to work with. My friend is worried about her reputation at the firm because of this woman and my friend's manager took a while to do something about it.

Pros

I haven't been a part of EAB too long, so these are all preliminary opinions, admittedly. The company offers solid benefits, the team I'm a part of is nice, and there's a lot open feedback.

Cons

The top Con I can speak candidly to is training. My training was really sub-par at best and the amount of administrative work I have to do compared to my actual JOB is astonishing.
