Pros

Your peers and your immediate team members are the best part of working at EAB. I am surrounded by smart, determined and talented people who also care about being better humans and colleagues. The most growth opportunity seems to be on the technology side of the company, where more money is invested and individuals can be promoted or move within teams more easily.

Cons

Leadership. Most anyone at the Managing Director level or above has "grown up" within EAB as the company also grew. As a result, old ways of thinking abound, manager favoritism is the major reason for promotion, and the office bullies go unchecked because of their tenure and influence. Compensation and benefits are also not great if you're mid-level or beyond in your career.

Pros

-There is often free food -Colleagues are generally nice -Flexible work from home policy -Good reason to move to DC

Cons

-The pay in not competitive, most entry-level workers are getting support from their parents -Teams and management are extremely cliquey and favoritism is obvious -The culture is very young with many employees in their 20s and 30s who are close friends outside of work leading to an unprofessional work environment, you will also be ostracized if you don't go to the bars/happy hours constantly -Performance goals are based on ridiculous numbers - if you're paired with a strong sales rep, they will do all of your work for you, but if you're paired with a weaker rep you have zero chance of meeting your goals and management knows it -The interviews are purposely vague so that you don't know what you're signing up for - this company preys on new graduates, many of whom are gone within 1 or 2 years max - the job is calling and emailing university leaders all day long, even those who have explicitly told you they want to be left alone -Managers are extremely micromanagey and you might be managed by someone 2 or 3 years older than you -Entry-level staff are treated as a dime a dozen - nobody outside of your manager/team even pretends to care about you or talks to you -Middle and senior management are often rude and unapproachable - will walk by you a hundred times and not even say hello

Pros

Good PTO, fun coworkers. Healthy-life hours.

Cons

Extremely toxic. They make you try and fit in a box. Goals are based upon random calculations and everyone on the same product has the same goals, despite being in different regions. Even if you max out your comp plan, managers are still on you about doing more even though your monetary incentive is capped. They hire fresh out of college students and make it sound like a great job. In reality, you are calling/emailing contacts from a university every single day annoying them to schedule time with your sales rep. Often the sales reps have different expectations than your manager so it causes collision between what you should actually do. Also -- for performance reviews, if you do one small thing wrong they will mention it and dock you in every way possible.
