      Private Equity and Politics Have Destroyed EAB

      Smart and fun co-workers. You won't get bored.

      Cons

      -Constantly understaffed -Horrible pay compensation -Private equity owners have cut, cut, cut - they'll be selling us soon -Fake layoffs "due to COVID" - then turning around and buying five more companies over the course of a year -Solicited reviews - do not trust this Glassdoor rating -Politics - DC vs Richmond -Long-term senior-level employees who are stuck in their old ways

      Pros

      Excellent time off and healthcare. Salary competitive.

      Cons

      Company has been bought/sold passed around an intolerable number of times. No cohesion at all between any department at any level. Teams generate emergencies as SOP so everything is always on fire instead of planning ahead. Having to learn how 5 different teams do exactly the same thing in their own unique 5 different ways.

      - Working from home/anywhere - traveling - maybe 1% of my colleagues

      Cons

      Everything else. I have never met such pompous, elitist people in my life, both employees and clients. They think they work for the Harvard of EdTech companies or something. They work there for so long because they cannot get jobs elsewhere because what even is their field/jobs???
