Pros

good work experience. very diverse analytical techniques. the lab has the ability to analyze and test almost anything. quite talented people are working here. my manager is very flexible and easygoing, he helped me a lot.

Cons

Headquarter are very separated from the Lab. I faced an internal issue with an employee. It took months and months to be resolved. Relatively low compensation compares to the workload. The overall mentality is to generate revenue with less attention to improving the work quality and employees.

Having the ability to analyze and test almost anything is a huge asset. It speaks to the lab's versatility and capability. It's great to hear that you're surrounded by talented colleagues. Working with skilled people can be both inspiring and motivating. Flexible and supportive management can make all the difference in a work environment. It's fantastic that your manager has been such a positive influence on your experience. Separation between the headquarters and the lab can create communication challenges and a sense of disconnection. I encourage you to work with your manager to find ways to bridge that gap to improve overall cohesion. We strive to offer competitive wages in the market place and we believe in paying for performance, I’m not sure what the employee issue was that you were trying to resolved. Pros

Great experience. You will be exposed to big companies jobs. Free EV charge, which saves some money. Frequently free food. Free bagels day on Friday. They have multiple locations that you can switch to. Friendly environment (depends on the group) Floor management people are great.

Cons

Low compensation scale. Annual raise of about 0-2%. Annual bounce is very low $1000/Year. Poor 401K match, about 50% Big Chinese groups that communicate in Chinese. You will be lost. No external training or workshops. The actual management in PA. They work remotely. They don't pay attention to employees. No HR or payroll departments in the lab.

We strive to be competitive in the market place with respect to wages. Your information about the annual raise is, unfortunately, not correct. We encourage a diverse workforce and hire the best talent. Sometimes effort must be made on both sides to break through l\Language barriers to encourage effective communication and collaboration. Each lab has its own leadership, supported by a California based executive team. You may be referencing the Eurofins Service Center in PA, which provides centralized support for payroll and other functions. However, EAG has a team of dedicated HR professionals to support the employees.
