Make your own schedule, employers are helpful, give you the materials to teach from

the pay is extremely low for a tutor in NY, travel costs, everyone wants the same window so the most you will work in a day is 2-3 hours totaling 150. No benefits, and you will have to pay taxes. There is no consequence for misbehaving students.
