Everything! Chaos! Worst head office team ever

They wanted to demote my title during hiring and later decided to promote the person they want me to report to who was a junior(6 months experience while I had over 4 years experience). It didn't bother me at first until the junior had a long conversation with me regarding my salary (which probably is very low as compared to her) even encouraging me to request for more all while I was new. It was the first time I needed to convince someone that my pay is acceptable in my country. Reminding me also that the company is only hiring managerial position in one region, which I was aware for most positions and likely for this role I took on as well seeing as they rather promote a junior. I am thankful to her for informing what she has observed as I believe she was feeling bad for me. For someone who has ambition, perhaps this is not the right place but if for someone who is just 9-5, this is perfect.
