Sadly, I cannot truthfully give a reason to work there.

Cons

No internal promotions ever witnessed. You will work 6 days a week at least 2 weeks each month. Benefits are horrible, they may as well not even offer them. No praise is ever given to employees, just negativity. Im not sure the colleges national director of enrollment is capable of doing is job. Every company I have worked at in the past promoted outside activities to break away from the daily job stress, not ECPI. Its just constant work.

Pros

It is a very professional, progressive environment. Faculty and staff and provided ongoing free training in a variety of areas, from time managemnet to using the latest multimedia technologies. The environment is fast-paced and exciting, and our students often land lucrative jobs. I really enjoy working at ECPI and am proud to be a member of the staff.

Cons

The work day for faculty is very long. The programs are accelerated and the fast pace, while exciting, can be draining at times. Still, with the right mindset, ECPI can be a fertile place for professional development and personal growth for its many students from many backgrounds.
