Pros
I've worked for several companies and I've never seen one that offers this much opportunity to its staff. Its not just because ECS is super nice to its employees; the opportunities that arise are directly due to the high growth business model. Every time an office grows or a new one opens, ECS promotes quality, hardworking staff from within to fill those vacancies. At any time, I would guess there are 25-100 vacancies to be filled across the country. If you get the chance to work for ECS, one of the first stories you'll hear is how the executive vice president started as a technician and he worked his way up the ladder to second in command. That is an incredible story and is uncommon among other employers. To be clear, this man was not handed a golden ticket - he had to work extremely hard and sacrifice much. He had to take on huge challenges and responsibilities, move his family around the country, and never give up. The point I am making is that if you want to be challenged and you are willing to put in the TIME and WORK HARD to EARN new opportunities than this is the company for you. Be honest with yourself and understand that an employer is going to select the best (dedicated/deserving ) employees to advance in the company. If you aren't willing to work hard and sacrifice, then you will not last and you'll probably write a bad review on here. For what its worth, I no longer work at ECS and I can tell you its not because ECS is a bad company. I have nothing to gain from this review. One of my clients offered me a position that I could not turn down - otherwise I would still be at ECS, happily working my can off! Other pros are very generous benefits, including healthcare, ESOP program and bonuses.
Cons
Sometimes ECS can be too risk averse and too policy driven. Some policies are enforced with penalties and negative feedback.
