      Pros

      The people that work here from the field personnel to the president are aligned to succeed in the goals of customer service and engineering excellence. So many opportunities to move up for those that have that passion for the work and their career.

      Cons

      You won't be able to coast or be handed your success. You have to be a self-starter and put in the work.

      Pros

      ECS has a positive, encouraging environment. Most offices have a friendly team dynamic and have a lot of fun together. The company is growing rapidly which constantly creates career opportunities. I have been promoted or received pay raises about 5 times in 8 years. All employees are given company stock as a free benefit of being on the team.

      Cons

      The work can be demanding - a lot of field time on construction sites and sometimes early mornings.

      From Project Manager to Senior Manager

      Pros

      Fast growing company with tremendous opportunities for growth and career advancement. I started as a project engineer and advanced through multiple management jobs with great access to senior managers and mentors. The company is very open with information about company performance and advancement opportunities. The ESOP gives all employees a chance to share in the company’s success. ECS is one of the most successful firms in its industry.

      Cons

      I really can’t think of a “down side”. When I compare different aspects of ECS to other firms in the industry ECS is always better than other alternative places to work in this industry.
