The more you drive the more you make. Mileage is tax free so a person with kids can really kill it on tax returns because.......

the hourly pay is literally trash and unless you get every certification they offer to pay for you to get you will NEVER make enough to be over the earned income credit line

Free training and industry certification classes. Travel is reimbursed fairly (driving time plus mileage).

Cons

Mediocre wages. You must use your own car to go to construction sites. Work schedule can be unpredictable and erratic. Sometimes you will work in a different location every day of the week.
