Pros

Large projects and ability to develop a diverse base for the resume. ECS secures some of the best projects through their relationships and size.

Cons

Support structure is lacking. IT systems are absolute failure. Management has turned a deaf ear to employees and surrounds themselves with those who tell them what they want to hear. Disproportionate pay for billable employees compared to non billable employees.

Pros

Great introduction to the engineering consultant services industry. Employees learn a lot about guidelines and plans for all stages of the construction site projects from earthwork to final inspections.

Cons

Training is limited based on office needs. Compensation isn't the best compared to the industry. standard. You will have to learn things on your own as work needs pick up in the summers. Winter schedule slows to a crawl where you can barely live comfortably.
