Great career springboard for two-ish years
Pros
Training and development is too notch and the best I’ve experienced in my career, I still use the skills I’ve learned years later. It’s also a great place to learn sales. People are great- motivated, interesting, fun. Some managers are amazing. Office space is one of the best in Boston. Social environment for newer college grads. Unbelievable travel benefits.
Cons
Everything is sort of a double edged sword at EF- first is of course the pay, all my friends and I who worked there joke about “EF debt” from trying to make ends meet while we worked there. While some managers are good, others are painfully unqualified. While the people are amazing, it creates a smoke in mirrors effect that distract motivated individuals from the real problems happening (lack of growth opportunities, pay, etc) more often than not you’ll see folks be really passionate and satisfied for two years and wake up one day wanting an immediate out.
