Great people who just get on with things despite lack of direction.

Cons

Software delivery is not something the leadership seems to be bothered about. Unrealistic deadlines are constantly made up and the team is put under pressure to meet these deadlines. When the deadlines are missed, there is a shrug of the shoulders and a new made up date is made up and the pattern continues. As a result corners are cut to try and meet the unrealistic timeframes. When presenting evidence, metrics, etc to provide realistic dates you are met with confusion and ignored.

Passionate co-workers, fast-paced environment, great location in Boston, and obviously travel.

Cons

For a company that prides itself on “company culture” and being part of the EF family - the pay is remarkable low and layoffs came a mere few weeks into the Pandemic. For how hard people work for this company, the overall structure allows for most to be easily dispensable.
