Pros

Pay is good and the people that make the place run are amazing. Best group of people I’ve ever worked with

Cons

Been here little over 2 years and can’t believe how inconsistent and greedy upper management is. We have been working from home coming up on a year now and because of the virus, nobody supposedly got raises but yet we have added a ton of new clients, their cost to maintain the office is at an all time low since everyone is working from home. There was nothing done for the holidays and everybody’s work load has pretty much doubled. CEO and all the VPs only care about themselves and I’m pretty sure they pocketed all the money they have saved and brought in why us little guys get crushed daily. I heard a lot of good things when I started here but I shouldn’t have ignored those other reviews before I started because they were pretty much spot on. If you need a placeholder job until you find something else this is perfect, but just know that honeymoon phase runs out real quick here.

Pros

Agree with the other negative reviews about the positives. I left EFC a while ago for my current job and couldn't be happier. You learn to appreciate your current job more after working at EFC.

Cons

It's not a fun place to work. Management needs to be improved upon. Too many yes men running the place. The other negative reviews hit it on the head for everything else.

Pros

I was on a great team with great people but no one ever stuck around more than a year or two. I grew and learned a lot but mostly due to the team members I was with. Had every other Friday off.

Cons

Most of the rules that were in place were simply damage control and poorly thought out principles that drove me and a lot of high quality talent out quickly. The environment that is created is one you won't be able to tell from the initial interview as they will promise you the world and describe amazing benefits which there really aren't any. The 401k is pathetic because most of the funds you contribute too take 1.78% which is absurd and their match is only 3%. Most of the dev practices in place are enough to make you wonder how they have even managed to survive as a company until you realize the clientele they have. They support a very outdated industry that struggles 30 years behind on technology but don't make much effort to actually get them up to speed leaving the sector up for grabs if any competent competitor wants sweep in. The biggest problem I would say with working here is how decisions are made. Most decisions made are behind closed doors that should incorporate the actual developers who make the software but the management completely changes the work environments and technology stacks based on the opinion of one or two which are the "favorites" in the endless sea of politics that is this small company.
