Pros

It is a Software company and you will probably get lots of client interaction. You will be expected to come up with solutions on the fly and wear many hats.

Cons

* Many of the software and systems they build are using older code and languages. To be fair, some software is built using new technology. * Owner, Ernie Frank Chappell (hence EFC) is an extreme micro manager. He would also routinely call group meetings and not show for them, or make people wait 30 to 40 mins on him. * The Owner also forgets what he talks about in meetings, will ignore important emails and then unfairly blame others for mistakes. * Owner routinely fires people at the drop of a hat. He encourages other employees to spy on one another and tattle. A large portion of staff is fearful of losing their job at any moment. * No strong code management, development methodology or code deployment practices. * Owner and management are clock watchers. They are very strict on when you arrive to work daily. It is a clock in / clock out type environment and the owner is paranoid people are not working a full day.
