Thank you for sharing such detailed and honest feedback. We appreciate the time you’ve taken to reflect on your long experience with EGGER and are sorry to hear that parts of it have been so challenging. Your comments about the behaviour and culture in some areas of the business are concerning and do not reflect the values we are committed to as an employer. We do not tolerate bullying or any form of disrespectful behaviour, and we take any allegations of this nature seriously. Our people should feel safe, respected, and heard — always. We acknowledge that cultural change in a long-established organisation takes time, and while we’re encouraged to hear you’ve seen efforts to improve in recent years, we also recognise from your experience that we still have a long way to go. That’s why we continue to invest in leadership development, wellbeing support, and the creation of a more open and accountable working environment across all levels. We would really value the opportunity to learn more from you. If you're ever willing to speak confidentially with our HR team, your insights could play an important part in helping us create lasting positive change. Thank you again for your service to the company and for sharing your thoughts.

Pros

Pay is decent for area Pension contribution is good Free parking onsite

Cons

- Management team are unprofessional, nothing is kept confidential between manager and employee. - One rule for one (in management) another for everyone else. - Working from home should NOT be advertised as it’s made clear to you when you get the job that this is not something that’s encouraged due to managers preference. You almost feel like you need to give an excuse as to why you should be allowed to work at home, even though it’s a policy that 40% of the week can be done remotely for office based staff. - Senior Leadership team can barely say hello to other employees, yet social media would portray it’s a welcoming “family” company. - They are a company that allows bullying and actually promotes those that are known to act in this way. - HR department are extremely cold and uncaring - the lack of empathy and human emotion is shocking, you are simply a number to them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience at EGGER was not as positive as we would hope for any of our employees. We take all feedback seriously and are continuously looking at ways to improve our culture, management approach, and working environment. We’re pleased to hear that you found aspects such as salary, pension contributions, and onsite facilities to be positive. However, we acknowledge the concerns raised regarding management professionalism, communication, and workplace culture. We strive to create an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and treated fairly. If issues such as confidentiality, leadership engagement, or remote working policies are areas where improvement is needed, we are committed to listening and taking action where appropriate. We encourage open dialogue and would welcome further discussion to better understand these concerns. If you would be willing to share more details, we invite you to reach out to our HR team confidentially so that we can continue making EGGER a great place to work for all employees. We appreciate your time with us and wish you the best in your future career.
