Pros

The company has grown extensively since I started, which bodes well for the future. If you love growing with a company and making a mark, this is the place for you. There is a great camaraderie with coworkers. Whether in-person or remote, you truly feel like a valuable part of the team. Very autonomous. You have the freedom to make decisions for yourself. Leadership welcomes ideas and suggestions from everyone, and is always open to meeting with you to discuss how things can go more smoothly. They promote from within. The leadership makes a point to help you map out your own trek to success. Whatever that looks like to you, they'll help you get there. In my five years here, I've witnessed more than 10 coworkers being promoted. And more to come. We've even had employees branch off to start their own departments. From day one, you're part of the team and are looked at as an equal contributor.

Cons

Cons are always subjective. The one thing I'll say is that any con you feel during your time here can be brought to management and discussed openly to resolution.

Pros

This is a Company that truly cares about its employees. They are very vocal when things are going well, not just when things aren’t going well. They also allow you to work to your own strengths rather than needing to complete everything in one cookie cutter way. Everyone that works here is extremely helpful and no one will ever make you feel like they don’t have enough time to help you. All in all I am extremely happy to be a part of the EMSC team!

Cons

You must be good at managing your workload, while this is a pro as mentioned above, this can be a con for others who aren’t as organized.

Pros

utonomy and Creativity Smaller team likely meant more room for testing new tools, techniques, and processes. Client Communication You probably had direct contact with clients, building strong communication and account management skills. Impact Visibility Results and growth were more visible, allowing for a greater sense of accomplishment.

Cons

Fast-Paced Learning Environment Exposure to multiple industries and client types sharpened your ability to adapt strategies quickly. Limited Resources Smaller agency budgets may have restricted advanced tools, content investments, or larger-scale campaigns. Heavy Workload Managing many clients simultaneously could lead to stress or burnout. Less Specialization Might have had to be a generalist, wearing many hats, instead of deeply focusing on a single skill set. Client Expectations Dealing with small-business clients can mean managing unrealistic expectations or limited marketing knowledge. Growth Limitations Advancement opportunities might be slower compared to larger agencies or in-house roles. Inconsistent Processes Smaller agencies often lack standardized procedures, leading to inefficiencies or duplicated efforts.
