They allow you to get the job done the way you think is best. Creative freedom. Management doesn't play favorites - they promote according to meritocracy Benefits are okay

Cons

Management will not give commission or sufficient pay raise that is owed to Salesperson/Employee Not a very inspiring work environment - management isn't good at providing opportunities that would lead to collaboration among colleagues Leadership isn't concerned with improving the skills or wellbeing of their employees
