Pros

The benefit package is good for Spokane.

Cons

Where to begin..... The qualities and skills you bring to the job are meaningless. Beware what they promise you. You are a cog. A necessary evil that they feel they need to constantly "manage" to squeeze the best metrics they can out of you. You will be forced to use extremely old and dated software and tools that any other company would have upgraded long ago. Ideas or suggestions for improvements? Forget it. They have no interest. The nepotism and cliques run deep and thick at all levels. Information is horded and used as weapons to take down others on your team like a new version of Lord of the Flies. People who work there are miserable. I've never worked with a group of more depressed and negative people. I have no idea why they stay other than pure ignorance of how much better most other companies operate. Compensation is abysmal. Easily 1/3 of what a comparable position would pay in the Seattle area.

Pros

Location is near Houston Gallaria.

Cons

My experience with the environmental division was not great. The group has reorganized and I am not sure what changes have been made but I was underpaid and unrecognized for my work. My title was an "Analyst" while the other people who were doing the same work as I was doing had a "Manager" or "Advisor" title. We were all doing the same work but because of the title differences our compensation and benefits were not the same. The reasons for this were never clearly stated by management.

Pros

- Steady Hours - Matching 401k W/ Full Benefits

Cons

- Pay is sub-par compared to other jobs. They took away Bonuses from Mid-Level employees and their "Merit" increases are not impressive. - Upper management micro manages. In turn, making you feel more like a number to the them. - Some employees becoming disgruntled, lowering floor morale - Career Opportunities may be lacking if you don't have a degree or know somebody - They pushed a ton of OT hours during the holidays to "Catch Up" which in turn didn't create a good Work/Life balance although hat is something they preached. - New management is creating a different atmosphere which has gone away from "Family Friendly Oriented" to typical corporate once JEFF H left the company.
