      PTO and decent benefits & 401k matching

      (Was EnEngineering) Favoritism is the best currency with En. If you are not buddy buddy with management your growth opportunities will be either limited or non existent. Training practices depends on with team your assigned to. Bonuses are irrelevant for drafting/design positions ranging from $300-$600. Regardless of consistent performance and overtime. Long time loyal employees are constantly walked all over and underpaid. Whereas new hires with less experience and skill sets are awarded higher wages and frequent promotions.

      Ability to work from home, decent PTO, half day Fridays, paid OT for everyone below Project Manager.

      Cons

      Basically the same complaints of any big company. HR and upper management are pretty out of touch with the drafters/engineers so raises and promos are small and not timely. They’re losing a lot of good people because of this, but it seems the focus is more on acquiring other companies instead of growing and keeping current people. There are so many people in mid/upper management but not enough technical people to do the actual client work. The solution has been to bring on as many new grads as possible, but with the high workloads they end up getting very little training and then get thrown in to the deep end to sink or swim often leaving the clients with less than stellar deliverables.

      Amazing people work here!!!! There are very talented and bright minded folks who work here.

      Cons

      All of management, especially the execs, could care less about what happens and are waiting for the next seller. HR department is a disaster, never seen so much turnover in a group. I’m surprised that Michael Simpson still has a job there…
