Dear Former Employee, We are sad to hear that you didn't find your experience with EON positive. We understand that there may be a reason for your emotional feedback and highly encourage you to contact our HR department at hr@eonreality.com to share what caused your dissatisfaction and how can we do better. EON’s company culture cares about its employees and based on our years of experience we acknowledge that we perhaps have the room for growth but we definitely have some company strengths, appreciate our global team and are working hard to get better every day. Pros

It’s ok for learning basic software development

Cons

The platform was developed without thorough testing infrastructure and was bloated with a lot of complex features that were fun to build but in practice see almost no usage. People with high level titles seem to not really know as much as they should. Although we were told the company is profitable they have a very hard time making payroll on time. I quit because I felt like this company just exists for the CEO to basically jet set around the world “selling” the service, and while that could make sense financially, I can only assume it doesn’t given the aforementioned working capital issues. I agree with other comments there are a ton of fake reviews, and they are pretty obvious lol.

Dear Former Employee, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for allowing us an opportunity to respond. First of all, it is important to clarify that the platform’s features had been developed with feedback from academic collaborators and we are also on a continuous journey to finetune the user experience which is evidenced by the regular updates to the platform. Your personal impression of the platform does not accurately reflect the experience of our clients from more than 70 countries, who are actively using and integrating the platform as part of the student learning experience. Being present in more than 70 countries is also not serendipitous, and requires concentrated efforts, as you have rightly pointed out, by the efforts of the CEO and members of the sales team to travel as part of our commercial outreach efforts. EON Reality places great emphasis on utilizing our resources wisely and the face to face presence with existing and prospective clients has been an indispensable aspect of the continuing success of EON Reality. In fact, this is also one of the key reasons why EON Reality is now on track to a public listing and remains one of the most successful edtech companies with a 25 year track record in operation. Once again, thank you for your review and we always welcome constructive feedback on how we can do better.
