The different projects can mean different expectations and conditions. While what I write in this review is true overall, but if you end up on a "bad" project, some of the above pros might not apply (e.g. work-life balance, flexibility) and/or get some added cons (like stucking with some old and painful technologies). Also while there is a real effort to support mobility betwwen projects and put everybody where they are comfortable it is hardly manageable when everbody wants to leave a certain project.
Work environment is mediocre at best: while comptuers ar ok, you have to work in a big and somewhat crowded open office space with a crappy air-conditioneer, close to no sunlight, etc. Coffee-spots and leisure room are too little and few to accomodate so many people, meeting rooms are dark and uninspiring.
As mentioned earlier EPAM is growing rapidly and that also comes with some drawbacks. It lost some of its former people-friendly attitude moving towards a direction where you are just another nameless employee. Nothing too serious this far but it's a little alarming. Also because of the rising demand in hiring standards are lowered somewhat.
Very limited possibility to work from home, if that is something you care for.
