Thank you for sharing your review. We appreciate your 5-star rating! As a global organization, relocation is essential to EPAM's foundation, and we relocate many employees worldwide. And we are thrilled to hear that you felt supported during the relocation process. We aim to provide all global employees with fair compensation and want to ensure you feel valued for your work. EPAM considers internal and external factors when creating a total rewards package – one component is salary. Please consider having an open conversation with your manager to discuss your salary goals or make a career plan for your future with EPAM.

Pros

EPAM is an excellent company in terms of work-life balance, it is flexible and its remote work policy is beneficial. It has competitive salaries in the market and this is one of its great attractions along with its medical plan, The process of career growth and training plans is transparent, and ethical and provides great support to employees. It has a super broad training platform, it supports you in IT certifications, courses and learning other languages (even not just English), and hobbies. Offers annual bonus for its employees with good performance, without exception. It is a transparent process without competition; You're just good at your work so you have your bonus.

Cons

However it does not offer major perks beyond the salary and the benefits for the country are strictly established by law (Vacation, paternity leaves, family days, PTO, sick leaves). The biggest disadvantage of EPAM, at least in Colombia, is that its project offers are very low and if you are removed from your project, no matter your performance, project interviews, or how much you get involved in extra-mile activities, you could be fired within 2-3 months (with luck), even when It is the company that does not have project offers to offer you. So my advice is if you fall into the bench, start looking for a job. The higher your seniority, the more difficult it will be to find a project, so even though the career growth process is transparent, many employees refrain from promotion to avoid being fired Another disadvantage of the company is that the offer of projects, staffing process and internal projects is largely concentrated in Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Poland and Hungary), and for Latin America, the offer of projects and positions is exaggeratedly low and this precisely affects its bench or talent pool.
