Pretty good

Pros

1. Transparent career growth - of course, there's a chicken and egg situation where you have to have been an architect to pass an assessment for an architect, nevertheless if you consistently ask your manager to get a project where you could be playing an architect role and then you can get necessary experience for promotion. 2. Supportive management - my experience is that managers help you if they can. You need to be vocal about your problems though. 3. Friendly culture - have not experienced any toxicity in 9 years I have been with EPAM Systems (4 years overseas and 5 in the US) 4. Meritocracy - my experience is that if you have knowledge and skills you will progress in your career. 5. Opportunities for learning - huge knowledgebase, talented engineers. 6. Good health insurance + 401K matching

Cons

1. Average salary 2. Very client dependent - if clients are toxic, then usually there's very little EPAM can do about it. You can change your client if you're in demand though. 3. WLB can suffer if clients are demanding. 4. With small unimportant clients, EPAM managers may leave you on your own. Could be good if your clients are nice and you don't have problems with delivery and WLB.
