1- International and open environment 2- Access to new knowledge and competencies is easy 3- an environment where someone can choose to develop his own interest 4- entrepreneuship is supported by management

1- management has not a clear strategy for development 2- Supervision of phd student are very different between advisors. Some put a lot of energy, other dont ask about their student. 3- The

I did my PhD at EPFL and it was very nice. It was quite difficult, but I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed teaching.
