Half-day Fridays, reasonably strong engineering group, IT is good, Revit work is ahead of the curve, the admin staff are a joy to work with
Cons
Transparently unhealthy dynamics at top tiers of management, some people don't respond to your emails and do not hold themselves accountable, too much of a "copy/paste" mindset, high turnover, poor project scheduling, noisy workplace environment, some projects are rather morbid.
EPSTEIN Response

We agree with your assessment that our admins are top notch. We have invested in our Revit capabilities over the past several years and it is wonderful to see the investment is paying off.
Like most workplaces, Epstein knows we are not perfect. We have recently gone through a reorganization amoungst our management team to ensure that each individual's strengths are being maximized. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to make strides towards addressing our staff's concerns.
The MEP group is by far the best group to work within due the discipline managers. They are fun and flexible and make dealing with the politics between the other departments tolerable.
Cons
The overall culture of the firm can be poisonous if you end up working with the wrong people. Older employees hold recession era grudges and are stuck in a general recession years funk.
m/e/p department one of the best to work for nice bosses, flexible timing and great staff.
Cons
you have to work your hard (i.e don't count hrs) off, too much street on their engineers that they can't focus which drives them mad, so basically ur on your own, no learning environment do it on ur own, not very experienced staff, but the bosses are.
