      Pros

      As ERM is so huge, especially the London office, it is very easy to find people you have things in common with. The office environment is very nice. The work can be very interesting and there is scope to move to different departments than the one you are in. There are many industry experts who are very willing to help.

      Cons

      The pay is usually very low. It can be very difficult sometimes to get work which is stressful considering everything is judged against your billability rate.

      Pros

      Very flat and friendly organization. People are not competitive (in a good way) and always willing to help. Because it is an environmental consultancy, many people love outdoor activities (hiking, camping, surfing etc) so it is very easy to connect.

      Cons

      No support system for especially young consultants. You have to learn as you deliver projects, which is the most efficient if you can navigate yourself. But if not, it can be difficult.
