Pros

Opportunity to excel in many topics or a niche topic. Interesting, innovative, challenging projects so one is never bored. Collaborative teams and consistent learning from events, conferences, webinars, speakers. Pay for graduate degree (1 class/year if you pass). Incredibly devoted employees.

Cons

Painfully subjective salary, bonus, and promotion systems based on line manager, service line, and threats to depart company. Exhausting pace of work burns out hardest workers with little to no reward. KKR buy out changed company from warm and congenial to cold and competitive. Company expects volunteering and internal engagement but only rewards for billability. Your best is never enough. Goal posts keep moving.

Pros

Environmental knowledge and experience. Excellent environmental consultants

Cons

Consultants are overworked and Management does not have experience and capabilities. No experience, capabilities and knowledge around industrial operations. All consulting is based in theorical and assumptions. Even at Senior consultant or partner level, except for environmental matters where qualification is excellent.

Pros

The employees, especially at the more mid to junior levels, are great to work with. Solid drive to collaborate and work together.

Cons

Leadership has forgotten to take care of its people. There is an extreme lack of work for some, while others are so overwhelmed they need to take time away. There is no balance because there is no strategy and direction. There are only words from management. The entire group is paying the price.
