Pros
I recently joined ERM and have found the culture to be professional, personable, collaborative, communicative, and competitive - in a good way. The hours are flexible, the team supportive, the work challengingly interesting. Opportunities for advancement are available to those who are prepared to seek them out and embrace them once offered.
Cons
At this point - I see very few. Perhaps the need to some technical staff to deepen their people skills and improve emotional intelligence. This isn't unique to ERM, and is often found in technically excellent scientific teams.
