As a budding entrepreneur w/ a Bachelor's, just trying to make some cash while competing with "entry level experts" in this niche economy, ESS is a relief. America's school system is suffering and children need to be taught. ESS is one of the few hopes in America. ESS is the only company preventing the military from taking over schools because of the massive teacher shortage. They make it possible for real professionals to get paid while having a very flexible schedule. This is a real gig for entrepreneurs. Hiring process is remote. (except for fingerprints) The HR is very attentive. The process for obtaining and scheduling jobs is very clear and simple. Decent pay and weekly pay Gain public speaking skill, among other socially professional skills All professionals admire teachers

Cons

Getting an Emergency teacher's permit takes some time. Payment Errors do Occur. Double -Check on hours and payments

Pros

The past year working with ESS has been one without any issues that were not handled promptly and with the highest degree of Customer Service. When I called, my issue was heard, understood, and forwarded to the correct person.

Cons

Students are apt to take the title of 'Substitute Teacher' and treat it with a lower amount of respect vs 'Guest Teacher' or Teacher. When students ask if I am their Substitute Teacher, I answer that I am not a sandwich and am theirTeacher with credentials.
