Pros

My recruiter was friendly and the same with her colleagues. I love the variety of open positions (short-term, long-term or just for the day). It is very flexible.

Cons

Low wages. One of their competitors in NJ pay more for the same type of job. However, you have to be willing to go to more challenging neighborhoods for the better pay.

Pros

Flexible, you work when you want.

Cons

The pay is not all that great, considering you are watching 20+ kids at a time for 8 hours a day. However, if you can understand that they are kids and require guidance and PATIENCE, this is an easy job. Tiring, but easy.

Pros

Very helpful to substitutes when you have an emergency and cannot complete your committment ( this is of course if you have a strong record of showing up for all of your assignments).

Cons

They should pay more for long term substitutes rather than the same daily rate. Teaching as a sub in a long term placement like maternity leave is a lot more responsibility than a daily sub.
