Amazing Company, Important Work, Incredible Culture

Pros

All branches(K12, Higher Education & Adult) seek to provide people with valuable skills like financial empowerment, substance/sexual abuse prevention and other critical skills. This makes the job feel more 'mission driven' that you'd find in a non-profit world. The entire company has a work hard, play hard mentality that permeates throughout the remote world. High achievers can move up the ladder and take on new roles quickly. Salary/benefits are very competitive for a 'start-up' and the company genuinely wants you to grow as a professional.

Cons

The shifting company structure makes it difficult to understand upward mobility potential for the remote employees. Being remote can be more difficult for new people. EverFi has essentially created its own business model which means shifting priorities / structure. If you're not able to pivot easily, that can be tough.

Thank you for your feedback! One of our priorities this year has been identifying more opportunities for our remote team members (in addition to ensuring they have the support and communication they need).

Pros

- Fantastic work environment - Good pay/benefits - Sincerity and Transparency from the CEO - Great communication between all employees whether they're remote or wthin an office. - You can tell everyone at the company genuinely loves what they do and the mark they're making in the ed tech world

Cons

- A lot of responsibility is put on the individual to be successful on their own merits which some people may not be comfortable with - A lot of remote employees throughout the country are kept in the loop via calls/emails/etc. however they can often feel excluded from general office culture and being as "in the know" as their colleagues in an office.

Great place to work, but high expectations

Pros

The people are amazing; super friendly, outgoing, and helpful.

Cons

The expectations are high, so it's hard to have a balance. Especially if you work remotely - there's no one there to say, "relax".
