Thank you for your feedback! Hopefully the benefits of working here outweigh that commute but we are exploring some more creative options for our commuters.

Pros

The entire EverFi team across the country is invested in doing work with schools and communities that need EverFi resources the most. They have built a company that makes sense and partners with companies, organizations, and higher education institutions large and small to make this a reality. Great support from top-down - whether you are an EverFi employee that has been around since inception or a newbie just starting out as a Schools Manager or an Engineer. EverFi recognizes and supports its employees as best as possible during on-boarding and while on the job. Continuous professional development occurs via the team and across the company. If you are goals oriented and operate with a growth-mindset, then EverFi is the right place for you. We work hard for the results and we honor those efforts in more ways than one. The CEO will know your name. You are an important asset to the company and communities we work in. So don't fret if you get a call from CEO, Tom Davidson. He is passionate and truly wants to know what is happening in your region and what else can he do to be helpful. Not many CEOs have time to do so, but this one surely makes it a priority!

Cons

There's a lot at stake and ensuring that the relationships with partner organizations is always on the right track can be tricky. Good account management is needed in positions that work directly with schools, teachers, and sponsors. Therefore being organized is key and if you struggle in this arena this job might be challenging to you. As a schools manager, you need to be ready to travel to a school or district that needs you the most. The aspect of car travel might get old for some but it really is about balancing the demands of the job. Learn to prioritize and ask for help when needed. Must be familiar with cold-calling and become comfortable with doing this task especially in the schools manager position.
