Pros

Good benefits, competitive salary, 3 weeks vacation to start, flexibility when needed. EY used to be a better place to work.

Cons

Was good until 2020 vision, which is ruining morale. No more positions available in the field all admin jobs moving to service centers. More job loss coming.

Pros

Global integration, brand on resume.

Cons

No work life balance. You will work like a slave for a poor salary. No ethics. Not worth trying to build a better working life. Build it somewhere else. Toxic work environnement.

Pros

- Great network building company - Eye opening opportunities for fresh graduates - Established career path - Good benefits, health plans, and 401k

Cons

- Want to get an above average performance rating? Work hard won't get you there. Your rating depends mainly on your relationship with your manager from each client engagement. High work performance does not really mean much. - Want to stay late and get ahead on work? Sure, but sometimes you probably should go to the happy hour with your Senior Managers or Partners because they are in town. Oh and you can do work after. - Many times your work gets heavily edited or tossed because of lack of communication and guidance. - You will find smart people around but often you will find people who are reluctant to change or learn. Many tasks can be automated but most of the times you will find the management will rather spend extra manpower to do things the "right" way. - No self-value realization. For individuals who want to add values to the human society, this is not a place to be. I was excited to be hired as a "consultant" to solve people's problems but realized that I was just a "janitor". You do not need a college degree to be able to succeed here.
