Pros

I used to love working at EY. EY used to really value its people, especially in advisory. It used to be a really flat organization where you could connect with senior leaders. The average amount of time people had been at EY was 8 years. Now it is less than 2 years.

Cons

We started hiring a lot of people from Accenture. Since then the culture has changed significantly. People are much more hierarchical and a number of my colleagues have left the firm. There is no leadership and people that have been promoted to leadership position are qualified for their positions.

Pros

We are always looking to innovate and listen the people. People surveys get discussed during counseling meetings.

Cons

Sometimes job opening internally can be the death of your career. If you stretch yourself that job may not be there in a few months.

Pros

Great opportunities to manage Staff early on in your career. The job is also constantly changing and you are able to try new things.

Cons

Some of the most significant cons are the work life balance. Given the overall the culture of the firm it is difficult to have a work life balance.
