Pros

The feeling of doing a uniquely complex job and doing it outstandingly well as part of a team for the best clients in the best city in the world (London!). This is what it's like being on the sharp-end.

Cons

Realistically, none. I'm well paid, am treated very fairly, the work environment is good, the partners and other staff are great. It's busy, its hard, and it's challenging..but I chose to be here.

Pros

Ernst and Young provides a great opportunity to gain experience in a variety of business processes. The compensation is comparable to other "Big 4" firms, and while the work load may be heavy, the experience that you gain is more than worth it.

Cons

The largest downside of a "Big 4" firm is of course the long hours. However, as long as you are prepared for them going in to the job, they shouldn't come as a surprise. Just deal with it, get the experience, and if you don't like it, leave. There are always other opportunities out there.
