This company is a big scam, see through it. unfortunately managers are allowed to be a loose cannon. the staff team didn’t have any care or respect for customers or other colleagues. the HR department is weak and hands off. the store managers will get mad at you for things they don’t directly communicate well and as punishment, cut YOUR hours and give a half assed excuse that it’s because of the store budget. this company exploits teenagers and young adults to appear as a solid job with great pay but realistically it wont pay the bills unless you are store manager or above. that 50% discount? that’s intentional so you can spend your whole check RIGHT where you earned it! shocker, I know. the products are cheap and shatter, tear, or break often. there is NO way they source this ethically, this is fast fashion but with”good vibes” slapped on it. this job uses you for your time and you’re still expected to only be given hours is if you’re a top seller. therefore, not only are they expecting you to sell sell sell, but also work for those sales to earn hours. hey also! my store manager was racist! love that for us, she didn’t know how to speak to POC and would suspect stealing always. its SO upsetting to have these memories that i just wanted to warn whoever is a 20 something thinking this is a safe environment. You ever had a schedule changed the NIGHT BEFORE opening, to be put as an OPENER and no one thought to tell me (the keyholder…) We love being taken advantage of!! we love a job not respecting your time as an individual being! this company needs to do better, Stop with the ART THEFT and exploitation please :)

Nothing sold is actually fair trade. Most of it is from China. Poor quality products. The plastic pollution from this company alone is quite drastic. Upper management is "cliquey" and truly unprofessional. They do not work for the store level but for themselves alone. Poor working conditions and sanitation. Especially during COVID. The benefits offered to full-time employees are substandard. Pay for Sales Associates and Key Holders are just embarrassing of any company in 2020. They do not offer a living wage and therefore turnaround is constant. Dishonesty from Headquarters is blatant. Many reviewers have made similar comments, if this review discourages a potential employee from taking the bait, as I did, then it made it all worth it.
