Too much stress, not enough pay

Pros

Easy to move up in company, has it's fun moments, hires interesting people, hard to get fired from, paid parking pass for upper store management, health insurance for full time employees

Cons

Store location falling apart with bandaid repairs from home office, discourages wage discussion between employees, pressure from upper management to take on more responsibility without additional compensation for all store roles (sales associate, key holder, asm, gm), going above and beyond your responsibilities is considered "Meets Expectations", home office routinely steels artists' imaging and has to MOS stock in stores

Pros

Upper management is amazing. Culture is amazing. Company as a whole is like family. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking to dabble in retail.

Cons

Pay is average. Communication could be better between districts.
