      Positive Work Environment Upper level management is really nice

      Cons

      Product you are trying to sell is low quality sometimes. The company expects more from their employees than other retail jobs but does not pay any better.

      Pros

      Connecting with employees and customers alike. Offering global products to sometimes secluded areas of the country.

      Cons

      Nothing sold is actually fair trade. Most of it is from China. Poor quality products. The plastic pollution from this company alone is quite drastic. Upper management is "cliquey" and truly unprofessional. They do not work for the store level but for themselves alone. Poor working conditions and sanitation. Especially during COVID. The benefits offered to full-time employees are substandard. Pay for Sales Associates and Key Holders are just embarrassing of any company in 2020. They do not offer a living wage and therefore turnaround is constant. Dishonesty from Headquarters is blatant. Many reviewers have made similar comments, if this review discourages a potential employee from taking the bait, as I did, then it made it all worth it.
