      Terrible management

      Pros

      Flexibility with being able to make your own schedule, for the most part.

      Cons

      One of the absolute worst managers I've ever had. She was defensive, unprofessional, sensitive, insecure, overbearing, unhelpful, controlling, confusing, and downright rude. I wrote up a really long statement at my exit interview letting HR know about it, and they were not surprised.

      Part time Gig

      Pros

      Get job working with kids, building rapport with families. Seeing the improvement in the kiddos everyday. Good pay, lots of support from Program Managers. Good entry level job, gain lots of experience and learn new stuff about ABA. This helps you get experience when you have your own kids, you can use these same methods on your own kids or if you're a teacher. I've learned alot, and gained alot of experience. Would recommend this job to people who are in school or need just a part time job. Get paid for some milage if you have back to back cases. You get your own work phone (old flip phone) and an ipad. You learn how to take DTT data.

      Cons

      The hours suck, you're at the will of the parents who can and will cancel for any little thing; you lose the hours. Cannot move up in the company unless you go back to school and get your Master's degree. Near impossible to become full time.

      Excellent Training, Poor Opportunities for Promotions

      Pros

      The regional trainers are excellent in training clinical staff when onboarding. There is no employee contract needed in order to accrue BCBA supervision hours. The interdisciplinary approach promotes cohesive treatment plans for the participants receiving multiple services with ESSC. The billable hours requirement for supervisors allows you to have a good work life balance. Also, pay and benefits are good.

      Cons

      A lot of employees pursue their master’s and BCBA, but there aren’t enough job openings to promote them all. Therefore, it can be difficult to get promoted, which causes staff members to look elsewhere.
