Eastman has one of the friendliest environments out there. It's easy to feel like work is more of a project with friends rather than co-workers. It's a really great place to work.

Cons

If you don't like to work in a friendly environment and would rather be surrounded by an oppressive one, Eastman is not for you.

Eastman has interesting projects which result in products that are improving lives arounds the world. The culture is wonderful with strong teamwork and cooperation, but mostly the people they hire and develop in this culture are great.

Cons

Opportuniites for very different technical assignments while still working for the dame company - many fields and many technologies, from small molecules to polymers Opportunities to branch out into business roles Great colleagues who will help one another, with special attention to new employees Great bonus program that shares company results with employees Managers that share information Colleagues that become friends

Cons

Has struggled to define a strategy and stick to it, but seesm to have overcome that in the last few years Worried that pay and benefits (not bonus) are beginning to be less attractive those offered by competititors
