Pros

Eastman is a great place to work due to the small company attitude with the big company assets. There are so many opportunities without having to relocate consistantly. This gives every employee the opportunity to be successful without placing un-needed stress of relocation.

Cons

The only con that I can think of at Eastman is that it is still a chemical company. Each employee must be diligent in their designs and consider all chemical properties and how to manage them safely.

Great committment to safety, environment, and employee well-being, while not losing focus on continuous financial success. The company had to make very tough business decisions over the last few years to exit some businesses while expanding in others...the success and growth over the last 10 years has not been by accident.

Cons

Having to comply with the new health care laws and facing unprecedented EPA regulations.

Eastman has good pay. Eastman is focused on protecting the enviroment they are very focused on being good neighbors in the community.

Cons

Changing Benefits and Retirement. The benefits have changed several times in the 20+ years I have been here and the price keeps going up while the benefits go down.
