Pros

Good pay and benefits Great people Excellent team collaboration Opportunity to grow with the company. Many people will work in several different careers while never leaving the company Genuine concern for employee well being.

Pros

Compensation, benefits and career opportunities are among the best reasons to work at Eastman. However, while other companies may be able to match those attributes, the Eastman culture is like no other. From the first day on the job, employees feel that they are part of a team. Co-workers all around are helpful and offer assistance to allow you to succeed, because your success makes the Eastman team even stronger. I've never worked in a company where responsibility was so highly valued. It is truly a can-do work environment where you can always count on your co-worker. I look forward to coming to work each day.

Cons

It is a manufacturing company and as a result, people dont' see us as a pretty office building in a pristine business complex. While we work hard to maintain our sites and do have some beautiful office complexes, our sites are mostly chemical plants with lots of pipes and columns.

Pros

Highly ethical organizational culture Employees work together and support each other, not a lot of competitiveness Good compensation package, including profit sharing for all employees Company management commitment to safety, the communities we are in, growing the business Lots of opportunity for promotion within the company for new engineers, etc.

Cons

Many manufacturing locations are in smaller communities which often do not offer the excitement, nightlife, shopping or cultural events of a bigger city.
