Pros

Eastman is headquartered in a wonderful community. Employees have excellent benefits, on-site fitness facitilites, extensive job opportunities, and dedicated co-workers.

Cons

I have not found any cons. An opportunity for improvement is to consider on-site child care.

Balance between work and family is important.

Pros

I am able to work part-time to allow me to spend more time with my children and have received promotions while doing so. Eastman understands the importance of family and encourages a good balance between family and work.

Cons

In trying to "be like everyone else" in regards to compensation packages, Eastman doesn't stand out anymore and it may result in losing some possible excellent employees.

Pros

Eastman values employees at every level. Everyone is made to feel important and allowed to contribute in a meaningful way. The company has clearly defined goals and values. Each employee knows how they can contriubute to the success of the company. Eastman puts a strong emphasis on the health and well being of their employees. There are so many programs to help employees stay healthy.

Cons

There are really no cons to working for Eastman.
