Pros

Great flexible hours and very competitive pay. Very family oriented company and they are willing to go the extra mile to work with the employee with any family issues. Everyone is very respectful, and it is not a cut-throat working environment.

Cons

The health benefits could be better for new employees. Performance rating structure will not guarantee a performance driven culture.

Eastman's culture values honesty and depth of character. Humility is important--your colleagues are exceptionally talented and experienced. Employees enjoy problem solving and helping each other and our customers to solve complex problems. Employees are strongly encouraged, enabled and empowered to continue developing throughout their careers--an Eastman employee may change roles and responsiblities many times over a career without changing employers. Eastman invests in the long-term wellfare of its employees--fair pay, good benefits, personal wellness incentives and a strong emphasis on safety.

Cons

Plant locations, including the global headquarters, are located in fairly remote areas. Travel can be time-consuming from non-urban centers. Cultural diversity is more difficult to achieve in non-urban locations.
