      Pros

      Eastman knows its stripe and know where it stands in the chemical space and the Eastman team works closely to transform Eastman to a specialty chemical company. In the process of doing so, it will open up opportunities for employee to grow professionally and Eastman believes in coaching its employee towards reaching their highest career potential

      Cons

      We need to be patient with our career progression since succession planning is very key in developing next generation talent. This methodical process for career development could be frustrating for some employee, especially those who came from other industry.

      Pros

      Eastman management cares about its people and their carreers, all employees get ample of opportunities to demonstrate their potential and the reward system is solid and thoughtful. The recent integration of the Solutia acquisition is done with great care to maximize the benefits.

      Cons

      Sometimes to much burocracy which is taking the speed out of the decision making process. The good thing is that senior mangement is aware and is working the issue.

      Pros

      Eastman has a great philosophy. It's like working for one big family. There are so many colleagues with different nationalities which makes work life interesting and fun. If you wish to and do your best working your way up the ladder at Eastman is possible. I've been working at Eastman for half of my life and look forward to the years to come.

      Cons

      I can't really think of any.
