Pros
People are easily Eastman's greatest assest. You find great people across all organizations who truly care about each other and are extremely responsible towards their committments. There is a strong team environment and it can be a bit of a family culture at Eastman which can be a tremendous benefit both personally and professionally. I also enjoy how we operate with a high level of sophistication. There are a lot of very intelligent people around the world coming from all walks of life who bring an incredible amount of talent and diversity of thinking to the table. I've really benefited over the years learning from my colleagues and peers.
Cons
A very matrix structure can sometimes challenge pace and clarity of decision making if the objective of the work is not clearly defined. Ability to gain alignment and committment favors those who are strong communicators.
