Pros

Eastridge has been my home away from home for the last 9 years and has supported me throughout many phases of life. I'm so grateful to work for a company that lives and breathes it's values and truly treats their employees like family. Of course, there are ups and downs in the staffing industry but EWS has been able to create a supportive and safe environment throughout the inevitable highs and lows. Forever grateful for this company and the opportunities it has provided me throughout the years.

Cons

I would not have stayed at EWS for the last 9 years if there was any notable cons.

Pros

Remote opportunity for the lucky ones. Recruitment does not need daily meetings nor to be in office to be successful so continue to allow a hybrid at minimum.

Cons

Below living wages and top heavy Gave my all for nothing. Hard work does not pay off. Role playing, daily meetings, ridiculous KPIs Constant executive growth while downsizing support teams

Thanks for the taking the time to share your feedback, we take all feedback very seriously. I understand the last year and a half has not been easy for our industry, Eastridge included. I trust you recall that from 2020-2022 we did provide annual increases and/or bonuses as we wanted to share in the upside we were experiencing. Last year and entering this year, the industry has contracted seeing industry revenues decline by over 15%. Our revenue was up 8.9% in Q1 so I hope people see our investments are paying off. These investments include adding Client Success Managers to help with account management. We also added a Strategic Accounts team to help service accounts out of market to reduce the branch burden. We also remain committed to our Sourcing Center to help build the funnel of candidates for our branches. Finally, we have added some leaders in Recruitment so we could spend more time ensuring managers were spending the time offering training and development, career pathing, better coaching and client support (all based on feedback from our quarterly surveys). I wish I could do more to address the frustration I am sensing. I hope I have shared some thoughts on our vision for the future and the confidence I have in our momentum.

Pros

C level management seem to have a pretty positive vibe. Forward-thinking with regard to societal issues. Remote work was definitely a plus. Just about every possible holiday off; more than I've experienced elsewhere. With one exception, everyone I worked with was great.

Cons

Senior Manager of IT was a suspicious, micro managing little man. He said lots of things that he never would have said to someone's face, and got away with it because his staff was entirely remote. Had a very hard time apologizing, and actually never did, even when it would have been warranted. When he felt he was supposed to acknowledge someone's work, he sounded very unconvincing in doing so. He had a hard time giving up control, and as a result always had far too much on his plate, and was constantly stressed out of his mind. It was clear he'd never managed more than one, maybe two people max, before joining Eastridge. Just a heads up, if you're considering an IT job with Eastridge. Company only offers 2 weeks of vacation to start, as if it were the 80s. Rather poor for a company which in other areas is fairly forward-thinking. Bi-weekly all-hands meetings seemed a bit much.

I appreciate you taking the time to share feedback, covering both pros and cons. We have made some changes with the department management you are referring to so I believe your concerns would have been addressed (although calling out any physical traits is uncalled for). We have also moved to monthly all-hands meeting to ensure our value of communication is a focus of ours.
