Pros

Small college with many campuses. A good place to get started in academia. The students are a pleasure to work with but some need additional support.

Cons

Little room for growth, lack of meaningful development .

Pros

It was the convenience of location that it was easy to get to, and the atmosphere. Being able to help people and work with other people.

Cons

In order to have this type of job/ career you need a master's degree in library sciences of which I did not have the only experience I held was a student aid library assistant position from Bergen Community College 1993 - 1995

Pros

The administrative personnel are friendly and welcoming. Parties a couple of times a year are fun. President is accessible to all employees.

Cons

Employees are all miserable and hate their jobs. Pay is low but since most employees are graduates of this bad school they don't deserve more, managers work half the hours of their employees and expect the world. This school is stuck in the past when it comes to using technology to help students and employees do their jobs. If you can find work elsewhere take it. If not it's not a bad stepping stone to better positions in higher education.
