Pros

If you're lucky, you'll have the opportunity to meet co-workers that genuinely care about doing a good job and meeting the needs of their students. You can gain valuable experience to bring to another company more deserving of your best efforts.

Cons

Where do I begin? You will be paid very little and yet be expected to do the work of three people. I was mislead during the interview process about my starting salary, I took my position under the guise that I would be making a mutually agreed upon salary. Only to learn after taking the position, that I would be making much less than what was initially agreed upon. The company culture is one of arrogance and deceit, and often times employee morale is very low. The president often tries to intimidate and bully his employees anytime you want to discuss a potential raise, job review, or even if you disagree with him on something. Because of the fact that there is no proper HR department in place, he feels he can get away with it. They also have their favorite employees, who they will let get away with anything, yet they are still working there, no matter how incompetent they are, or how much they compromise the integrity of their job role. Important financial decisions like paying to have a photo-booth at a company party, and an expensive ice sculpture of the company logo for all to see, will take precedence over investing that same money in paying hard working and loyal employees the salaries they deserve. Anytime you do ask for a raise during your review, you will be shown the door.

Pros

Teachers get along well with each other and the students. All have high levels of education to teach at this school.

Cons

Not managed professionally, all about numbers and not the students future. Underpay all employees what they deserve for their title. Management is underskilled.

Pros

It is what is. Get your experience for 1 maybe 2 years and leave...immediately.

Cons

Until it's not, and you realize you're underpaid (literally in the lower 30-40% of industry average) and overworked (50 hours or more a week) and underappreciated and over stressed
